Do any of you guys plan on getting VR headsets? I've messed around with Google Cardboard before and it was cool enough that I'm planning on getting a real headset once they come out. I'm torn right now between the Oculus Rift and the Playstation VR (don't really care about the Samsung Gear VR). How about you guys? I'm curious to see if people actually think they're going to worth it or not...

They seem like another fad that companies are trying to push on consumers like they did with "smart watches".

Now, if it were augmented reality, then I would consider it.

Nope, no interest. I live in total reality, don't need VR.
 
I think I'll wait for them to refine the technology's hardware and games for it first. It does look awesome though.

I don't think VR is going to be a fad, there are a lot of genuinely useful applications for it. VR failed about 20 years ago, billions have been invested this time round - this wouldn't have been done lightly and without a lot of research. Getting one too but in the same boat as you, not sure if I should get the Oculus or PS one. Leaning towards Oculus only because there's likely to be more uses for it, PS will be limited to gaming / movies I guess.
 
VR headsets is still new tech.

Will wait for next 2-3 years.

Once the tech really mature, with more smaller sizes. And more "crazies" function.

Then I buy.
