Will you be working (online) on Christmas day?

Ill be doing a little bit - I get bored if I don't work at all.

But it will also be nice to take it easy:)

Well, in the world of IM holidays or not i will have to do some work to make some good money, then spend some time with friends, family and loved ones after.

The more you work != the more effective you are ($$$)

I am pretty surprised of most reactions here... you guys have no friends/family to be with? Most people around the world work much harder than people before say 10 years ago and Christmas day is the only day to turn off, and it's a chance to meet your busy-friends (my situation).

My Christmas day - I'll check in the morning stats as usual and most of the day I plan to spent with friends & family. And from 25th back to the work.

I can read some tutorials, while resting all the day!

Unfortunately Yes, But im happy to be my own boss and everyone that is here should :)

I'll be working, but not until after I'm done with all the family stuff :)

CAN'T WAIT FOR PRESENTS!!!!! lol

Time with my family most of the day...maybe checking email, maybe not.

Nah, not really. I pretty much ditched my family at the same time they ditched me, and since I moved to TH I haven't really bothered to make that many new friends around - always get them more than enough when going out anyways, so good grief if I had to keep in touch with all those people...

And I'm quite happy I don't have to waste time for something like family anymore, can get much more done, especially when most of my main customers will be off for the rest of the year, so I have more time to dedicate on new projects launching in Q1.

werk werk my friend. anything to get closer to my goals.

I will be on and off on christmas day. If my kids were home, I would definitely not even touch the computer, but since they aren't, I will spend some time working. Not really gonna celebrate too much, but fact is, I will still celebrate the birth of christ. :)

I am also busy that day,,, Still don't know what will write in my future.

do you guys think biz-opp offers will convert from tomorrow till new year?

My brain went crazy this morning just thinking if I should work on or not on xmas. But family is first and save work for later in the evening.

Christmas doesnt mean anything to me. will be working just as much or as little as any other day. as a matter of fact, no holiday means anything to me. weekend also dont mean anything.

What a boring life you live sir.

I am going to be spending Christmas eve with loved ones and then Christmas day I will be working. It's really just another day for me as with every day or "holiday". I take it as it comes and live in the now, I try not to use labels and stuff like that. Christmas can happen any day you choose, you don't have to follow society.

I like the last part "Christmas can happen any day you choose, you don't have to follow society" Yeah, I will be working...maybe get enough to spend everyday as if its Christmas...lol

Most holidays are based on some religious crap anyways, so I'd rather just take my day-offs or other free time when I want/need it, not when some nutjob says it's time to have a holiday.

Just a little, slightly off-topic, unsolicited opinion of mine here:

Christmas has nothing to do with how you feel, it's about how you make others feel and your obligation to them. That's the point. If you feel good during the holidays- if you feel happy when you give to others- that shows you you're human and that you recognize the goodness of the holidays. Your feeling good when giving is an educated response, not an intrinsic one...But regardless, the holiday is not for you, it's for them. One for all, and hopefully, all for one.

If people miss you, you must be there with them. If no one misses you, is there no one you miss that you'd like to reach out to? If you have no one that misses you, and you don't miss anyone, do you feel good about your situation?

Christmas is the day we're supposed to acknowledge, with certainty and not faith, that there is credence and merit to the notion that it is wise to live serving others. Christmas is the birth of this idea, but it's supposed to carry on throughout the year, otherwise the holidays didn't happen.

If you live in the Northern Hemisphere, imagine how much colder winter would be without the holidays. What makes the holidays warm? The people who do things for one another. It's the absurdity of making the best out of a bad situation, with happy cheer, to the point that we transform frozen water into something we play with by building snowmen out of it, and gliding on top of it for sport. This is Christmas: the birth of that happy, indomitable(snowman) spirit.

I always end up checking my mail and doing regular tasks, but on xmas day we all should at least try to take a break and get some quality time offline
