It's not going to negatively effect your channel in any way, however one thing that has been observed is that, if your channel has got high views from shorts videos, that channel will most probably keep pulling views only on shorts, unless and until you reduce the no of shorts videos and increase long form videos uploads, this way the channel gets adapted to choosing the long form videos and will send them for suggestions and hence your shorts videos will eventually get lesser views,
The main thing to understand here is the fact that there are always views threshold and that will be distributed by youtube accordingly to your long and short videos.
