Will the new twitter overhaul cripple current twitter marketing software?, or will the basic currently exploitable elements remain untouched?

Though I'm sure that most twitter apps that are readily available and heavily used by the public (like hootsuite) wont be messed with just for the fact that it would piss off a lot of twitter users.

Probably yes. All the software will just need to adopt to the new changes (programmers will need to change some things).

The new twitter looks awesome tho!

So does anybody that uses Tweep software let us know if it still works?

If the owners of the software or service are any good, they will adapt quickly to any changes that Twitter makes....

True. Might take awhile, though. Not all twit accounts have been changed over to new layout yet. I understand they are phasing them in over a few weeks.

The problem now might be that the twitter software still works with accounts that haven't changed over yet, but won't with accounts that HAVE been changed over. That's got to muck up the software for the accounts one have in the software already. Some will work, some won't until ALL accounts are changed over.

Going to be interesting. But maybe the change won't mess things up too much.

Life on the Net! LOL
