Will Twitter ever make usernames available

Do you guys ever think Twitter will purge all the amazing 1 word usernames that are unavailable. Some accounts are over 5+ years old with no activity.

it happened in 2009, not sure when it will happen again, and twitter doesn't reveal that either, so i'm keeping an eye out to grab some few :D good luck to you too
 
sure,if it's a awesome username or it sound like a official groupe,twitter may sold it to someone and not give it for free,you shoud try contacting twitter and ask them
 
I hope so.. I want to have an awesome username in twitter.. let's see and wait :)
 
Haha been trying literally since 2011 once a week to get this one specific dead-since-2008-account's username, no luck yet lol
 
Thanks for the responses the best thing we can do is just wait I assume.. I'm sure someone out there has a Bot that will probably steal them all from us and remain inactive like before smh
 
yep, twitter should see and reorganized inactive twitter account. I'm hoping to get some potential twitter usernames also :D
 
no... why would they re activated troubled account that were banned before
 
Sent them a request to grant me a username from some dude who hasn't posted in over a year, has 2 followers and 1 tweet. That's was Friday, doubt they'll grant me the name sadly.
