Hey everyone,
I am getting ready to create my first rank and rent site but wanted some others’ opinions on if I am doing it right or if there is anything else I should include since I am very new to this. I have found a keyword with low search volume that I think I could rank for, kwfinder.com ranks the competition for it as “33/100 (not hard)", and the Google results on the first page do not appear to be SEO optimized. There is a total of 39,000 Google results for this keyword (not sure if I should include that).

From the videos/tutorials I’ve watched and read, here is my understanding of what I should do:

1) Purchase domain name with target keyword in it. (I’ve checked, there are plenty available.)

2) Create website with that domain, install Wordpress.

3) Make a few pages, write articles about the niche on each page (~1000 words each?), include the keyword in the articles, embed a Youtube video on each page, put links on each page within the articles linking out to other reputable sites.

5) Create links within the pages linking them to each other. (Home page to other pages, other pages to home page).

4) Purchase PBN backlinks.

5) Purchase PBN domain, 301 redirect it to the page I want to rank.

Would following this plan get my page to rank? What else would you suggest?

You could try to buy an expired domain in the same niche and build the site on there. That way you already start off with powerul and relevant backlinks to your site.

start with an expired domain if you want to see

you can also straight buy a domain with keyword as the domain. And no you do not need to include google results for the keyword as it is not important. What's important is that you need to analyse the first 10 website which is the Page 1 websites ranking.

Competitor Research:
1. Check if the pages ranking are homepage or subpage
2. Use ahref tool to analyse these top 10 websites (backlinks)
3. Check if the keyword is in their meta title and description
4. Surfer seo allows you to check your competitors onpage score and authority power

To improve your Onpage
1. You need to create quality content so i recommend use surfer seo (if you just include youtube video, it wont help much coz what's important is not the content has medias but its the content writing itself but including medias like videos and images would help too especially if the medias has keyword too. But rmb not too overuse the same kw. This is why surfer seo comes.

Yes, your plan is good and it's good Start as you performed keyword research. Link to q relevant and trusted sites. Use content that is unique and informative to user..

If you target your keywords correctly and your PBN backlinks are highly effective, you might be able to pull off your plan.

It's still a bit of a crapshoot because you're not really optimizing your content.

The key is to make sure that you have enough contextual keywords for each article to increase the chances of ranking.

But just based on how you've set things up, you may have a decent chance of ranking.

The key is to finetune almost all your pages so that it's worth it to get links from you or to rent out links from you.

With the local rank and rent sites, the biggest problem is that the hit rate isn't predicatble. Some sites work, some sites never work. For some locations, you rank with Zero backlinks but for some others (with the same difficulty level), no amount of quality links will break it.

When building these sites keep in mind that it should look like a REAL local business and not another WordPress site.
Make sure you mention the exact & real local address, and local phone number (that actually works), the best bet will be to buy GMB Listing.

Pbns are not that good for site , if you are getting some low quality spammy ones , ageing factor is most important to an new site !

rank and rent is a shit model that sounds good on paper, but is trash in practice.

Why is it trash??

Reason I ask: Wanna try it out but still researching it, so if you could point out to possible problems with it, I'd really appreciate it
