I need opinions/advise on the following method that I'm thinking of implementing to increase my sites ranking in the search engine.
1- I wrote a simple DOS batch file that will launch FireFox and load my site.
2- Usually, I will run this batch file once in the morning and once in the evening after coming back from work.
3- I'm doing this without trying to hide behind a proxy server using software such as (Hide My Ass).
I am now thinking of automating this process where the batch file will do the following:
1- Launch FireFox and load my site.
2- Leave FireFox open for about 30 minutes.
3- Send a command to close FireFox.
4- Wait for a certain period of time.
5- Repeat the above steps (1 - 4) all over.
Will the above have any improvement on my sites ranking?
How about running the above by hiding behind a proxy server using "Hide My Ass". Will this be a better option.
On the other hand, it may be just a waste of time.
