Will this help y sites or kill it?

Hey guys, i am building a few new WP blogs with adsense.
Now, i have a few question about some plugins and tools that i am not sure if
hey can help my blog or kill it.

1. Should i link my blogs to my google analytics account??
I hear people say that its not good to give google access to your blogs data,
but what do you think?

2. Should i use google webmaster tools?? and if so what benefits can it bring
to my blogs?

3. Do i need to submit a google site map? if yes when do i do that, when the
blog is new or after i add some content to it??

4. i read somewhere that if i should build som backlinks to my blogs before
i add the adsense code to my blog, is that right?

Hope to get some answers to this question, beeing wondering about them
for long time lol.

2.webmaster tools is a must.It's the best tool to see your backlinks.You can 301 redirect your 404 pages,you will be able to see if bots having any trouble accessing your pages and lots more

3.Yea u need to submit a sitemap whenever you have the time to do so.

1. I would agree with linking your blog to your analytics account

2. Webmaster Tools will help you easily identify statistics of your blog, crawl errors and what people are typing in the search engines to find you. It's a great tool that doesn't cost anything so take advantage of it.

3. You don't NEED to do this, but you SHOULD do it. It doesn't hurt to have a page on your blog for your sitemap that will grow as you add posts to it. It is good for the user and the spiders.

4. Backlinks are always a good thing. They will help your visibility and increase your traffic if they are relevant to your blog. It shouldn't matter if you do this before or after you add the adsense account because ultimately you want to drive as many people to your blog as possible. You will work on backlinks frequently so there is no reason to "complete" that process.

OK, finally i got some answers lol.
I guess i will folow your advice my friends.

3. Sure. Doesn't matter when, as sooner as better.

4. Not true. But I suggest you have some traffic first and then install some ads. Just my two cents (from a man that had his google adsense account suspended for a while).

1.& 2.: I think that it depends what kind of methods you are planning to use for SEO and driving the traffic. I'm just in the middle of process of removing most of my sites from analytics and webmasters tools just to be on the safe side. I don't want to see all of my sites slapped if I get problems with some site.

3. Submitting sitemap helps to get pages indexed faster

4. You don't need to have any backlinks before you add your Adsense. You can add Adsense when ever you want, but personally I don't add before I have steady traffic. For the traffic you need backlinks if you planning to get organic traffic to your site.
