Hi guys!

I've been doing a lot of testing with TikTok over the past few days and finally created a video that has done incredibly well. I posted it about 7 hours ago and have received 700k+ views, 70k+ likes and 25k+ followers. The only issue with this is that the video could be seen as 'spammy' or 'misleading'.

It's still growing quite fast and I'm gaining thousands of followers per hour, but I'm on the fence on whether I should go all in and just leave it up to see how much I can gain or whether I should play it safe and private/delete the video, take the 25k followers and avoid any issues with TikTok banning my account or something.

If anyone has experience with TikTok's banning or moderation system then I'd love to get some advice. I don't mind too much if the video is taken down which I have seen happen quite often or if it's just a temporary limit on the account, but if the entire account was banned then I'd be pretty devastated. However, I'm not too sure if they hand these out frequently or what the requirements for that would be.

Any feedback would be great thanks!

I've made the decision to leave the video up overnight. It is currently at 816k views and my profile has 30k followers. You will know the outcome tomorrow by whether I post here extremely excited or absolutely devastated. Please wish me luck that the account won't be banned :)

Congrats, what niche and what sort of video is that if you don't mind telling

Knowing nothing about the type of video, I would leave it up. I've seen others mention how deleting videos has given them a shadowban too though (while I'm not sure if the same applies to deleting just one video).

UPDATE:
I woke up this morning with over 68k followers on TikTok. Still not sure what the best option is for me because I am very happy with this amount to get started with and don't want to lose it, but then again, the video is still growing quite fast. Part of me feels as though the video or account would have been taken down already if it violated the rules since it's been up for 19 hours, but I'm not too sure how long it takes for videos to usually get taken down.

congrats, what kind of video is this? very interested to hear about this platform.

I'm unfortunately not willing to share the type of video, however, I really appreciate your support.

I have also heard that deleting videos can get you shadowbanned. If I remember correctly, making the video private can avoid the shadowban but I'm not too sure. I probably will leave it up to see how far it can go at the moment and then I will likely private it once the followers start dwindling or if I get to a really nice amount.

I reluctantly made the decision to private the video. This morning I was only growing at a rate of 500-1,000 followers per hour compared to 3,000+ followers per hour last night. As a result, I decided I didn't want to risk my entire account just for a few more thousand followers. I am going to leave it for a day to let the dust settle and will start making genuine videos in tomorrow. Here are the final stats:

Followers: 70k+

Send me video in PM, I want to risk also? :D Did you used some hashtags?
