My website currently ranking for a few keywords.

My Permalink structure is: Website.com/blog/title

If I changed that to this: website.com/title

Will This Affect the Ranking of a Website?

yes it will, as you will change the URL structure and that is the last thing you would want, just leave it like it is
there is nothing wrong with Website.com/blog/title

if you redirect URL then it will not affect much.
& Yes you will see some ranking drop but it will recovery.

Use 301 Redirection
There may be a brief change in rankings, but it will come back soon.

Add Content
If the site is old and well rank, there is no problem, but if not, it's best not to do anything.

Why do you want to change? if it is ranking really well in the Google, let it to be. don't take risks unnecessarily

If you are having it for a while then don't change the permalink. If you have done some link building also don't change it.

In Google's eyes it will be a completely new link.

Changing WordPress permalinks can negatively impact your search rankings, break any existing links external sites might be used to funnel traffic to your site, and break existing links you might be using on your site that lead visitors to that page

Yes, it will affect your rankings because the backlinks which you created for that page will refer to that URL. So, visitors won't get the page which they are looking for from that backlinks. It will drop your website traffic and ranking as well.

It will affect it, Google vwill see it as a new url

It is definitely a NO-NO, if you change the URL the SE bots considered the contents as Duplicate so better stick with the original URL or 301 redirect the URL

No, don't change it. If you want to change your url, then use 301 redirections.

Probably.

Avoid doing this. But If you have to, add the 301 redirect to the new URL properly!

In my point of view, if you change the url structure and even do a 301 redirection. It will take some time for getting your old position in Search engines.

don't touch it, you can lose a positions for a while or forever
