Will the Timeline affect our custom Fanpage?

Hai guys,

As we all know, by end of this month facebook will automatically change all fanpage to timeline.
Honestly i am not a fan of timeline as its really messy to me..

Anyway we all know that with facebook we can set a custom landing tab.
Beside that we can set FanGate where non-fans can't see content unless they click like.
We can also create custom Fanpage or a mini website with 520px width.
and many more..

So i'm just wondering... with the new timeline, can we still do the above?
Does anyone have any idea or maybe a blog that you can point me to in related to the subject?

I don't think it's possible. Changed a fanpage to timeline and I can't see the tabs I've created...

The old one you can see the tab to choose from under the profile picture.

But with the new timeline you can only set 2 tab to be visible (beside the photo and like)

While the rest is not visible and the user need to click the dropdown button to view the rest of the tab.

Well... that is the disadvantage of the timeline now..

even the tab width size is changed. its not anymore 520px in width it is stretched

Actually when you setup the apps you can choose either 520px or 810px width.

The only thing i hate so much is the fact we can't to set the Landing Page.

Agree with you bro..
It does looks more organize but messy at the same time..
Beside the page load is pretty slow if you have timeline like 10 years back

Anyway if you want to remove timeline for profile you can use http://timelineremove.com/
If only Fanpage remain the same... i design fanpage and most client trying to stay away from fanpage for now..
