Hey, I'll start my first PBN I was wondering if you could give me any advice, for instance how to manage all the sites and registars, also been reading some post, but yet I'm not sure how many articles pointing to my site would be safe, or may it be ok to post links to my money site as long as i keep posting articles poiting to other sites.

    cheers

Excel sheet is your best friend in the PBN business.

Can get cheap domains from 1 & 1 and Name.com. There are usually coupons floating around.

    Some tips :

Use cloudflare - host two of your PBNs on same IP and mask one with cloudflare. I don't recommend going above 30% of your PBN on cloudflare

Do Not Use GoDaddy - I have heard they are Google 's registrar and may act like Google 's dog. So Whois protection and Same IP regestration may get you caught

Never Block Spiders using robots.txt use htcaccess instead

mmm I donno if cloudflare is able to mask anything, my plan is going for one hosting account (IP) per domain

not even close. things are evolving, dear Juan Popo.
there are some kids with strange ideas that Google and other SE are bunch of retards stuck in the 2004
no, they are instantly changing and the methods of 2011 are not as good as they used to be then.
so far as I noticed you'll need huge mazzafakkin' network to achieve less that 10%
so why bother? look for what works today, not was cool when Saddam was alive.
    Or else... whatever )
    peace

    Hey there,

Hope I can help here... Cheap hosting is OK - just make sure you get one with a company Google would not dare to touch... Someone mentioned One and One - this is a good one...

Others such as Green Greeks, MyHost, NameCheap, T1 Hosting are all great...

These ones are great because they are large hosting providers, and if you decide to add more PBN sites you will want to avoid setting up multiple accounts with the same email address and contact info - so what I tend to do is use something called Fake Name Generator - all the aforementioned registrar/hosting companies will allow you to register and sign up for hosting with a fake name and allow you to pay via PayPal without questioning the transaction.... GoDaddy, HostGator and Bluehost will not allow this so you will have to change the SOA records which is a pain in the butt.... Bluehost are just crap for PBNs so don't bother because they are way too strict even if you want to change your SOA...

    Hope this helps... :)

PBNs still work - very well... I have a ton of sites ranking organically with 100% PBN links... Admittedly in the past Google did peanlise a load of my PBNs and my sites got hit... What changed is the costs to create websites that look real, have content and Social Signals - Google can never argue that the PBNs I create are fake websites... In effect they are real websites TBH... Just expensive - v.expensive to maintain! VAs for Social Media and constant content updates and having people manage them for you is the main cost... After this, you need to work out a way that they rank a main money site for you that pays for those expenses at the same time as making a profit... A tough and daunting prospect I know...!

Trust me - PBNs still work very well... It's just the way you use them, anchor text ratios, traffic, Social Signals and pretty much creating what appears to be a real website... The link juice is then relevant to Google's algo as links are still 80% of how they rank sites... Easy stuff if you can manage them well - it's not rocket science - just a process...
