I came across a handful of domains with good metrics but with spammy link profiles (from blogs, forums etc), that I can get for the price of registration.
Looking on Textlinkads, it seems the metrics they favor most are number of backlinks and Moz page authority. I'm seeing sites listed there selling links at $400 a pop, that are advertised as having tens of thousands of links. The more links, the higher the price.
So the question comes: are all those links legit, even though it seems pretty incredible for a site to have that many natural links unless they were CNN? Or is TLA accepting spammy link profiles? I'm really tempted to try and add one of these spammy domains into TLA, but was also seeking advice beforehand, in order to save me the work of building a site on the domain.
Anyone knows how TLA is checking link profiles, whether they look at quality or just quantity? Or is it a mixed dish?
