So Trump's former lawyer released his book on Tuesday, September 8th 2020.

Within 24 hrs, ~600 people had speed-read the 400 page book and approved of the following review:

It has recieved ~1700 ratings within the last 60 hrs since being published. To me, it seems like a lot of people have been hired to hype the book. Amazon is always threatening publishers for doing the same thing this guy's team appears to be doing.

How is this sort of thing done? What kind of money is needed to pull something like this off?

Looks like a combo of pre-orders that got it on release day, people that had copies in advance and people that claim they read the whole thing but probably just scanned it.
