Will somebody please help me with Tor

    ok let me start off by saying if you're only response to this thread is going to be 'do a search, then fuck off....i've done searches for 'tor, tor help, and other keywords on this forum and on google....

    for those that are willing to take time out of their day and help me, i'd appreciate it.

    so, i downloaded tor, privoxy, and foxyproxy

    i've followed the directions on how to set up tor, but i'm still exposed.
    but my ip doesn't change....it shows the same ip.
    please help?

    i can't figure out what i'm doing wrong.

    what browser you using?

    If your using firefox, download TorButton

    If your using IE, go to the internet options and connect with the proxy 127.0.0.1:8118

    i tried both, but when i check my ip...it's the same ...my real ip...in both browsers

    Try http://vidalia-project.net/download.php.
    There are also instructions on the right for installing it on your operating system.
    Essentially, after you have installed the Vidalia bundle and restarted, change your browsers proxy settings to localhost on port 8118.

    You can also use "Torpark" it good because you dont need Firefox etc. it has its own firefox browser built in.
