There is not one single person in Hollywood who can explain what success is or how to achieve it to someone who is Not in Hollywood or will ever be. Hollywood has its own little set of rules.
Those are people that sacrifice nothing, they lose nothing, they do not give up anything in order to just make a risk to get somewhere. Go and find me a video about a man who worked a near minimum wage job for 5 years to buy his first foreclosed home that he flipped, or created his own product he sold to the masses, or started a business on hard work and effort that became a huge wealthy business.
Don't give me something about a guy who auditioned for a couple things and got approved and climbed a social ladder in order to entertain people like some sort of social court jester and makes an unrealistic amount of monetary reward for their "skills."

Sounds like a the "work it and scale it up" method that is mentioned on BHW all the time.
You act like any Joe Schmoe can walk into an audition and get a gig, it's not that easy!! He is a great actor nonetheless and I don't think that he was spoonfed his career.

Did you even watch the damn video ? Hes pretty much telling you that it doesnt matter who you are, where you live , how much money you have .. that your thoughts .. feelings .. actions determine how you live .. those 5 years you spent at a minimum wage job only happened because of your thought process. And its not like some random kook is saying these things

He's very wise and speaks a lot of truth. A lot of what he says can be read in the Napoleon Hill's book 'Think And Be Rich', which was written way back in the 1930's. Find your dream, focus on it, and work hard and patiently towards it.

That was very inspiring and a great share. I think there are some guys on this board who live in a fantasy world if you think anyone in entertainment don't make real sacrifices and some of which since birth you are living on a different planet. I have no way of knowing his sexual preference and don't understand the relevance at all. Like someone else mentioned did some of you guys even watch the 10 min vid?

I watched the video, and there was no real insight that wasn't revealed over 2 years ago in the video/movie "The Secret." This is Napoleon Hill through, and through, and to top it all off - Will Smith was gifted from birth with some incredible talent.
He certainly never had to climb his way to the top. As I recall - "Parents Just Don't Understand." That's what made Will Smith a star, and but for that...he'd still be nobody. All that stuff is stuff he learned in the last 20 years from Deepok Chopra, and other motivational speakers and trainers.
Just to be clear - there was nothing special about what Will Smith said above at all. He had good genes, and got some breaks. Nothing more, and nothing less. That said, as in all free market economies - he earns what the market will bear for his services. He should give up on the motivational speaking stuff though, and just do regular interviews like normal actors. Or maybe he should show off his rubik's cube solving skills in another movie.

Lots of gifted guys on this board but talent alone want get you anything man infact it matters even less every day. Also I did not watch the video looking for one NEW magical secret that will change everything. The secret was just a marketing ploy dude. There is nothing new and you talk to successful guys 200 or 2000 years ago I think you will hear correlations but not so much unique insight rather just the same message. However the same message can mean different things to different people depending on who is delivering it.
Dude what is your problem? A song does not make someone famous do you have any friends with BANDS. I know a hundred guys with good tunes but the song don't sell itself man and that is the same for websites. I can give a guy a script,domain etc.. but it is opportunity and work ethic that made that dude a success not one song ( no one lines up to play your song dude you got to work it just like the stuff guys do here ).

I was motivated and appreciate the op's share so maybe there is hope for his motivational speaking. I doubt good or bad genes has as much impact on his success as you think. Even professional athletes with good or bad genes have to work man. Why do some guys want to just put people in a box like we are smurfs or something ( Act like a normal actor ). Everyone got something to share and I am sure plenty of guys on this board can talk about more than just BH stuff. The video was pretty good and like with a lot of stuff on this board your best bet is to just watch it yourself and see if it inspires you not listen to my oppinion or this guy's ( sounds like he had a bit of haterade before posting ).
