Self-watching won’t harm your YouTube channel, but it won’t improve your views either. YouTube’s algorithm looks at real engagement metrics like watch time, likes, comments, and shares. So, even if you boost views artificially, it won't make a difference if it doesn’t come with genuine engagement

Actually, you can do that, especially if you have multiple channels and know how to set up separate profiles properly. It might help boost your views a bit in the short term.
But in the long run, it’s not really an effective or sustainable strategy. It takes a lot of time and effort for very little return. You’ll get better results by focusing on improving your content and optimizing your videos for SEO and audience retention instead.

It can help a bit if it's a new channel. But ensure that proxies are 4g / residentials and that the accounts have some history, the YouTube algorithm is very good right now at detecting artificial activity

Totally feel you, zero views suck. But running searches on your own videos won’t fool the algorithm it’s smart and looks for real engagement. Better to focus on making content people actually want to watch and share. That’s the real game changer.

Yeah, doing that might trick the system for a bit, but it won’t last. Try testing new titles or thumbnails instead small tweaks there can change everything.
