Will same website design on multiple domains hurt ranking?

Hi everybody, I am new here, here's my question:

I want to make a few websites that would be very little graphically different. Now, I know that duplicated content is punishable, but what about a duplicated website design? What are yours experiances?

Edit: Websites are mine, and will be in same niche.
 
Advertise on BHW
Check all of the content with copyscape. Make sure it's not linked to eachother. Check the uniqueness of all of it.
 
You mean like using a template and make different sites with different content then the answer is no.
 
That is what I needed to know, can I use same design templates over again. Thanks.
 
My sites use the default wordpress theme and they are ranking very well.
Obviously that theme is widely used.
 
There are WP themes, which are used on hundreds of sites. So I guess that this doesn't hurt your ranking.
BTW ranking is not only about unique content.
 
why to giving a chance to google when we have more themes available in wordpress.
 
He is asking if the same design would hurt or not, he knows that he shouldn't use double content so answer to your Question. No it wouldn't.
 
No need to worry. Just think of those people who buy the same theme.
