I currently work in content marketing for seo agency and we have a lot of articles that were not yet published. I talked to our CMO and he said it's alright if we post some of them on random blogs, or they might just become outdated.

I have like 10 or so articles that just sit there. РM your offers.

articles must be published with my authorship. Text should not be edited (I mean major changes), these articles were created to be published on external resources so they're pretty clean.

as in offers, I mean send me links to your blogs and I will offer you some articles.

2-3 links, 2 of which are for well-known resources like google kw research tool, moz guide to whatever, yoast plugin and such. and one link to promote a certain seo tool, not a shameless plug too, the tool is used in the article to achieve a certain result that helps to solve the problem that article describes. there are no free analogs for the tool but paid analogs are listed too. like you can use x y and z to do it, we'll be using y.

Here, I fixed that for you.

I wouldn't call relevant content with valuable information exactly free. People pay for articles like these, you may not know this, but writing 7 pages of content with visuals and other stuff is not the most efficient way to get a link from some random blog.

I forgot to mention that we will promote that post. So you'll get a lot more links and publicity than we will. It will be posted on our website in "press" section, it will be shared on social media. It's a SEO tool with 30,000 registered users. As for authorship it's only for blogs with a lot of other guest posts, if it's one-person blog then it's better to keep the owner's authorship.

I don't want to sound like a stinker.

I don't want to sound like a negative person, but I strongly believe you're posting this author on the wrong forum.

You see, a lot of people on this forum use black hat methods.

Even white hat methods are discussed here than to focus on bulk implementations, software and other workarounds.

I'm not saying that you should not get into partnerships with webmasters and online publishers on this forum.

I'm not saying that at all.

What I'm saying is that there's a high likelihood that you're barking up the wrong tree.

The better approach would be to focus on the niches of the target websites that you are trying to build links for.

Once you have a clear idea of these niches, you should then spend a lot of time researching blogs that are specifically targeted to those niches.

You need to filter those blogs based on domain authority as well as page authority.

Once you've done all these legwork, you should then engage with them on social media.

I know this may sound like a lot of work, but believe me, the hard work is definitely worth it because the last thing that you want is for you to build a bad link or a problematic link in the future that may derail your client's overall SEO strategy.

It only takes a few bad links to kill your rankings.

So, a little bit more time invested in finding the right partners, filtering the right partners and putting together a compelling backlink earning system is definitely well-worth it.

Thank, this is really helpful, but my ignorance was a bliss in this case. I got few decent offers and published 3 articles on pretty good blogs. It's not much but it worked and I wasn't overwhelmed by offers. Next time I have spare stuff to post I will definitely take your advice, thanks again.
