i sold my first item on ebay and paypal held the funds for 21 days because i was a new member or something, they released the funds early because i got good feedback and the item was proven to be delivered..but what i want to know is will they do it again if i sell another item?

Only way to find out is going through with it. Nobody here can predict what paypal will do.....

Yes, they will continue doing so until you have established a track record with them. Whatever that may mean to them. usually for about 90 days and form then on it will be less and and less frequently.

Ship with tracking and the funds will become available within a few days after delivery - usually.

All ebay sellers get this 21 day hold its normal, they do this so you don't run off with the money, usually after the tracking shows the item has been delivered the funds will be released. As you get bigger on ebay after a 90 day mark funds would be available more sooner than the 21 day mark

If you are a new member, they will keep doing that until you get more feedback and spend more time on eBay as a seller. Just plan your buying and selling with the 21 days in mind. In fact, many internet websites pay their members on a monthly basis, and people get used to that. 21 days is not a problem either, if you will get used to it until the time of becoming a higher-rated seller and then they won't hold your funds anymore.
