I know things are weird sometimes on youtube and get a lot of views quickly and sometimes it goes no where...

This was done all natural and organic. I have 11k followers, I posted a real video, nothing copied and reuploaded. I posted it last night and I did a little giveaway as well but that has nothing to do with the video itself just a little bonus.

I have 11k views in 29 hours and It's a pokemon video to give you insight and pokemon is highly searched. I somehow did manage to get top spot in a certain keyword but not all the keywords I wanted (I still have no idea how to really rank, I just go with it). I have created some back links by posting to twitter, reddit (went no where), facebook, a few other sites and I'm trying to get some gaming sites to post it as well. It currently has 194 thumbs up and 197 comments which is very good for videos I've done...

I'm looking for sites that will post my video for more backlinks. Also, any idea how many views/likes I need to be recommended for others to view? I also gained a lot of subscriber due to the giveaway...

I don't want to be harsh but if you can't sell yourself to your videos (like to the point where you would donate or turn off Adblock to watch the video) then don't bother. Also your videos should be categorized as either worthy of boosting or worthy of the trash can. It isn't me being harsh to own you, its me telling you the truth. If you are flawed anywhere in Quality of the video or promotion of the video you will get shat on. You got the choice to either make exceptional videos or to make crappy ones. I can literally count how many people are successful on YT as in making money and being viral. The rest are just underdogs hoping someone will swallow their BS videos in order for them to make a quick buck or appease their e-peen.

It depends, really. Some niches, pop stuff, gossip, etc, get tons of views and then die. Others, like tutorials, documentaries, etc, get a lot of views over time and just stay there. It depends on the type of content and your audience.
