Do my domain name extension will influence search engine result (geo tracking) ?

for exemple if i use a .ca domain will it be bether ranked in canada
as for the same exemple do a .ca website will show less often in usa?

i know nowadays that browser use information about your actual position to show you result that can be more revealant for the user ectect

i am in canada but im aiming usa custumer ..but my "perfect domain name " is only aviable in .ca

edit : i was also wondering if .net and .org domain are less seo frendly or less likely to have a good ranking or if custumer will not trust those kind of domain cause it look less professional..?

thanks a lot

P.s. sorry if my english is not very good if you need any clarification feel free to ask

Short answer: TLD doesn't matter for ranking. But will your target audience from the US click on a .ca domain? It depends on your niche... I'm ranking pretty well in the US using the .eu TLD, but getting less clicks then the results below me. Consider this.

thanks a lot
and for the .net and .org?
dont you think it look les professional?
any advice? :)

If .org is available then go with that... why would you use .ca then? If .org is taken try .us

thanks , im actualy about to click the "proced chekout button" on hostgator and ..i was not sure what to take i have the choice between .ca .net and .org hehe

thanks for the info

LOL i did just take a last look here befor buying and saw your post
ill go read your link thanks a lot :)

Your English is good and we can easily understand your question.
The domain name influence search engine result (geo tracking) but not in a big scope and .net + .org domain are also good. You can opt for .org as its professional.
