Will my blogs ever rank?

I bought a PLR article pack a week ago and started a couple of blogger blogs, I am wondering since they are duplicate content will my blogs ever rank/earn money or will google just filter them out as "similar results" or just ignore them?

What is your experience with duplicate content?

You cant no chance without any unique content. The more established sites will hold the rankings for the articles. You really need to add some fresh content.
 
i agree with the forespeakers: unique content means a lot.
 
So guys, if I hire someone to make unique content or do it myself and someone steals it, does it matter because I have already been indexed and the shmoe who stole it wont get indexed right? I don't want to have to do a copyscape for every one of my articles then send warning messages, etc, etc...
 
What most people do with PLR is rewrite it until it is original enough to count as unique content. So you don't have to start from scratch, just use the content you already have and reword it sentence by sentence.

I wouldn't bother worrying about content theft at this stage of the game.
 
content has to be "original" just spin it and check with a plagiarism site and once fixed ping it
 
It'll be indexed although it probably won't rank for anything other than your homepage name.

Has anyone here actually done a test for trying to rank dup content?

I would probably say.. no...

You can rank for dup content, easily enough.. I have not written or paid for content for a long time now.. and I rank for some very competitive keywords...

What it takes is time, links & authority... not unique content...

I get a little annoyed when most people just pass on information that they have read somewhere else.. and have not bothered to actually do any testing themselves...

I've been testing for few weeks to rank with dup content for easy/medium competition keywords and its working,just bookmark and build few link wheels and profile links and I'll end up on page one mostly top 5 positions...I'm starting to believe that inbound link is the king
 
Links, Domain Age, Domain Authority, Authority Links, decent on page seo.. and decent off page is all you need.... when I say off page I mean anchor text links etc..

See I did not mention anything about unique content...

Actually yes, I have!

I got hold of 100 PLR articles on blogging, I then spun them all using 'Content boss' I submitted 5 a day for the next 20 days..i then pinged, got some other backlinks etc etc.. 6 months later and guess what.. only 24 pages are indexed and I dont rank for jack SHIT.

I have also got another site that I hand wrote 20 articles for, I have around 5 backlinks all together from ezine and im ranking for several keywords and got PR1 within a month.

You do the maths.
 
you'll really have to make unique content, i know its a bitch, but its just how google works.
 
Start out with unique content until you get indexed, then slowly add some dup content mixed in with your original content and you'll be ok.
 
Ok guys.. keep making unique content.. I will keep doing what I am doing..

I am making money, ranking and not writing any content ever.....

duplicate content will rank but it will take time and backlinks. try to do a bit of rewriting to make the content somewhat unique.

like what others said, try to mix it up with unique content as well.
 
I have done some testing with lots of dupe content and yes, some of the pages are indexed but only if they are well promoted like bodamedia said.
 
I tried something out. I bought 6 .info domains in a market and then made 10 blogs on each domain and used wprobot to auto content all of them as well as a few other plugins and I dominate the first 1.5 pages of google for all of those keywords and none of it is original content
