Not sure where to post this.

My site is just a subdomain (i have around 10 sites that are all subdomains) of one site. It ranks very well in Google, but i want to start linking the sites together - I was told not to do this if they are all sub-domains sharing the one domain name, on a shared server.

So i have just coughed up a fair bit of money to seperate my main site for a year to a VPS and account of its own.

my question, in the migration of this... is there a chance I will lose SERPS?

i have moved host from shared to vps and dedicated, changed location and never noticed any diffrence

As you know the performance of virtual private server will be higher than a shared server since it acts as a dedicated one to your site, sure it will not have any affect with SERPS. Sice it is a tracking sofware it will work good if it is in a virtual private server.

Maybe. If you change server your site change ip address. On every ip changed, google re-evaluate website. In this case, if your profile links it's ok you can stay on the position, you can high or you can lose position. Remember: If ip is change, google re-evaluates your website

I have a site on shared hosting..when i created the website it used to get thousands of visitors daily..but later due to some unknown reason the traffic dropped drastically...now my hosting provider is saying my site is causing high CPU usage..so they suspended my site, though few hours later they restored it..telling that my site has some php error..my site now gets hardly 30--40 visits daily..how CPU usage can be soo high..I am clueless and worried too as I want to revive my site again to monetize it...pls help me guys
