Will Inflation Take Down Paypal?

PayPal Holdings cash on hand for the quarter ending March 31, 2022 was $7.965B, a 39.13% decline year-over-year.
PayPal Holdings cash on hand for 2021 was $9.5B, a 27.39% decline from 2020.
PayPal Holdings cash on hand for 2020 was $13.083B, a 21.58% increase from 2019.

Their cash reserves have been dropping rapidly. The next year or two will take a larger toll than before.

They don't have the moat they used to, with no meaningful innovation (they don't need to currently). Still a household name, and not going anywhere soon.

Will they be around in 10 years? 100%

20 years? Likely. (just not with the model we see today)

As a buyer I absolutely love paypal. Not needing to put your cc details online makes it very convenient.

I don't get paid via paypal. Only paying for some global scale services there.

I don't believe all the FUD type of news. To go from a trillion to 0 is not that easy. The other way around is much more difficult. I know this cause I am aspiring to become the first trillionaire in the world.
