Not necessarily so, they also take your history into consideration. I have a clean sheet with them and I've never lost a dispute, mind you, I never try to scam anybody.
I posted a thread with a similar question, no replies. So trying here.
I have someone disputing, I sell intangible goods too, which isn't protected I believe, correct? The guy also opened the dispute asking for a refund via paypal email, I asked him via paypal email a question that would show to me whether or not he actually received the goods, he refused to answer, threatened me (via paypal email), then did a charge back. Now he is saying he is taking it to the highest level of paypal to expose I'm a fraud. I've never had a chargeback before (besides unauthorized payments, and paypal is actually disputing one for me, and repeat buyers), so I should win this case, right?
Dude has been acting like such a total D-bag, don't really care about the money anymore (was a small sale), just him losing, LOL.
Would calling or doing anymore help? I showed screen shots of the email of delivery, which paypal has accepted before it seems. I also pointed out that I was trying to work with him, via their email so they can see that.
