Will I get penalized for this?

I am planning a new way to output content on my site. I am not able to post articles everyday since I'm in school and can't dedicate my time to write a ton of them (I'm also broke so I can't buy articles).


To keep my blog updated frequently, I was thinking of embedding infographics from other sites (that allow you to embed it to your own site) as new posts and schedule so that I'm outputting 4-5 posts/week.


Even though its an infographic from another site and they allow sharing, will I get a penalty for duplicate content?


My site has all unique content so far and I will be uploading more articles whenever I get time.

Yes your website penalized if you drop copy content from dmca protected duplicate content.

You can add content from other sources but make sure you also add an element of uniqueness to each of your pages, to make it different from other pages at least.

I thought this image could explain what most of experienced people look at you right now.

Think about this:
passion = success

be pasionate about content, why dont you focus on some content that you love? Im very sure that you will achieve success working 1 hour a day on that for 2 years.
Think about it.

So if the info graph wasn't protected by dmca and was made to be shared, I'm safe?

Google can't read images. It can only read text. As far as the image is not DMCA protected, you are good to go. Remember to add a little text too.

It probably wouldn't hurt to rename the image, either. Use Webmaster Tools to see how Googlebot views your site (that's where you can start killing off what could be considered "duplicate content").

I would not recommend doing that because of the duplicate penalty issue.
