Hello All,

My website has undergone some major changes this week. To cut a long story short, it turned out some of my website's files were corrupted, and my Magento site had to be restored from back to April. Then there was some server issues, which have gone been sorted, and some on-page content which has been edited. Also my blog has been updated, and all the URL's have changed too (similar but different) Before all this I was on pages 1/2 for some major keywords. Now I'm nowhere near that. I've build some pretty strong links using my brand name mainly....

Will Google recognize these links and start to rank me highly again?! And is it a slow process?

It's been a stressful couple of weeks to say the least...

Yes, you probably will get back, just it will need some more time due to the major changes made.

For the new urls, you might wanna do a 301 redirects from the old ones to the new ones

Nothing is certain but what I would do asap if you have not already is put some 301 redirects from the old pages to the new pages. This will help greatly in getting your rankings back to where they were.

You can also look in Google cache perhaps at the old URLs of pages so you can put an appropriate direct in place?

Yes, probably will take some time. Please remember to do 301 re-directs from the old to the new URLS. Magento shopping cart is pretty optimized, so don't worry about it. Goodluck bro!

Do the 301 and you will be in a greater position but what about the PR like bhavna has asked?

In most cases you will get your ranking back since you have not done anything wrong or noobish, You have been tragetting your brand name lately. make some links using generic terms and give some diversity and come back strongly.

Yes You use 301 redirect for new pages you get the old page authority to that new pages..

redirect (301 permanent) the old urls. its a bitch but gotta do it

You could have your rankings back depending on the effort and strategies that you will apply.

301 redirects are best for SEO so you should get your rankings back. With how long you are going to wait for your rankings to be back, no one can really say. Some say it only took them two weeks while others took 2 months.

So long as you make sure to add 301 redirects then your ranking will return, page PR is transferrable through redirects so don't worry :)

Just make sure your website is being crawled frequently. If that does not help within next week or two, then you might try other things.

I would put all your urls currently active to either Lindexed or Indexification to make them crawled and crawled so that google updates the index with your working urls.

Just scrape all the urls from your website and submit them to the services I mentioned above, this should help.

you will get your ranking using 100% white hat seo method .You need to do unique submission of content for your website. Also you can remove bad backlinks .
