- I've had a twitter account for 6 months, It's currently got around 40K followers (Majority fake) From Fiverr! and some from YouLikeHits and so on. And I follow around 70-80 people.

Any how I was wondering if there we're a chance that my account would be banned from Twitter?

I've added around 35,000 via Fiverr?

I use the account regularly and it has 11,000 tweets.'

Any Advice would be welcome.

hard to say because i keep hearing different stories. seems like twitter is starting to crack down but it's hard to tell how much damage they'll be able to do

Do you think it would be wise to start up a new twitter, and forget about this one?

My account name is MrJonathanLack

- It doesn't matter. I'm in no need of 43,000 fake followers. I'm deactivating that account. thanks for your help.

No i dont think you will get banned ......
Do not post lot of links....

The reason of being banned is when you posted too much of things but if you maintain it properly then it will not banned.

Doubtful from what I know. If you use it all the time you should be fine as long as you are not mass following people (400+ a day) at one time. Only accounts I ever got shut down where when I would follow 200+ people within a 15 minute time frame.

Don't think so. Just don't rush things too much. Go slowly. Post tweets 2-3 times regularly. Build followers steadily. Also follow others sometimes, like the verified profiles. Try to stay under the radar.

why deactivate it? if it gets banned it gets banned, but if it doesnt you may as well keep it, right?

Tweeter lately has been going nuts banning accounts. If you lay low for a while it should be ok.

people thAt are asking the "will i be banned for this and that" mostly will be banned after so time as the question clearly states that they aren't knowing what they actually do.

You will not get banned if you organize your posts and spread your posts between days. Too many posts results in ban or even suspension of your account.
