will hosting multiple sites on same host be safe?

Hi everyone,

I am working on building some websites using the methods i saw in this forum.
The problem is i already have a couple whitehat promoted sites.
Will putting blackhat sites on the same IP hurt them?

Generally speaking, what if i have 40 blackhat websites, and i don't want to get a different host for each (expensive).
So i put them all on the same host. What if google penalizes one or two sites for using blackhat methods?
Will the other sites on the same hosting account (same ip) also suffer a penalty?

At some extend, it can be a pattern to throw a manual penalty. If the IP is hosting to many nasty websites, Google can flag it.
