Will having both Article and NewsArticle Schema Mark Up on posts Hurt your ranking or google crawl?

Will this confuse google search? If you have a news website is it better just to stick with ARticle schema for posts since it covers news as well or just go with NewsArticle or is it safe to have both?

If the article is about news then news schema, if it’s just a normal article then article schema don’t use both
