Call me paranoid, but this thought just came to my overthinking mind. Can google know from which location a wp blog article is being published? If so, will it have an effect on how it's going to rank in SERP or how fast it will index the article? Will Google give preference to an article that is being published let's say from tier 1 locations?

If you have Google Analytics on the dashboard, yeah, Google knows from where you post.
true! But does the location of published articles influence rankings?? Because that'd be pretty retarded, but then again, everything is retarded about google nowadays, so I wouldn't be surprised

No, there's no way that would make sense for Google. Millions of publishers are online-only with writers distributed across the globe & different time-zones for any number of reasons. Totally irrelevant to rankings in any way. Plus, if they penalized because the writer is poor & brown and boosted when the writer is affluent & white, that would be mega racist lol

Google's bots are scraping the front-facing web. Just make sure Wordpress isn't publishing the location of the author & you got nothing to worry about

Google could probably figure it out if it wanted to, if Google Analytics is installed on the backend and tracking page views and events, then they have the data of where the admin page was loaded when the button to publish was clicked to publish that specific article.

Now, do they use that information to influence rankings, probably not. Reason being that it would be almost impossible to get any insight as to if a page is published from a certain location makes it any better/worse then pages published from elsewhere.
