Hey guys, I have a site that I was using Meatheads $100 per day method.

However I stopped using this method a while ago and I wanted to start adding some
content to the site and try rank it in the SERPs.

I just checked some keywords and I'm already ranked on page 2 for a couple of keywords, however since I was pretty much spamming other blogs to drive traffic to my site, will I eventually get slapped by Google and get my ranks down, or even de-indexed?

I plan on adding HQ content and no more spamming. Is it too risky, as all my hard work I put into the site might be a waste of time? Should I just create another domain?

Thanks

It depends on what u mean by spamming , what is the amount of backlinks you have and your anchor point.

Writing blog comments is perfectly fine

I was only doing it to fuck around to see if I could gain some traffic from doing so, I'd say I've got about 200-400 comments on blogs/news posts, no anchor text.

Each comment is essentially the same, just the anchor text is different pointing to different posts of mine. I say spam because I was just copy pasting lol.

Thanks for the reply.

200-400 links will not get you penalized. Just add content and go easy with the spam.

If you have been doing what you wrote above, then you are not spammy. If you were you using this same anchor, then you could be in trouble. Not a serious one though, as you can dilute it.

While adding HQ content, you can diversify your link building... build some web2.0s, guest post, etc.

Thanks for all the advice, I think it's safe to move forward with this site.

Lol how did valid get banned? He just posted on my thread not long ago.
