Will ezine ban me for submitting spun version articles?

Hey guys I need a little help here. I've submitted the original version of an article to ezinearticles, and I have a spun version that with every sentence rewritten, but it still talks about the same thing with the original one. It's about 40+% different from the orginal one.

Can I submit this spun article to ezine? I heard somewhere that ezine will not only reject spun articles but also ban the account... I'm not sure if it's true or not...

By the way, is there a way to spin an article to make the spun version unique enough that can get pass ezine?

In the past it would have been fine if you had changed up the KW's and reworked the spun version into its own quality article. Nowadays they've been a lot more strict about similiar articles being submitted to the same account though.

What I would do is register a new account and use the spun versions there.
