Will expiring Godaddy domains keep their pagerank and backlinks ?

Will expiring Godaddy domains that you can buy in auctions keep their pagerank and backlinks or they lost them after next G. update ? THANKS

They will keep their backlinks and PR but will eventually lose some over time, as the webmasters linking to it will realize the site is down or has simply changed topic/owner. If you want the homepage to keep the PR and link juice you need to redirect every 404 to the homepage. There is plenty info to search on the forums regarding this redirect. A wordpress plugin can do that for you.
