Will Elon Musk destroy Twitter?

Elon isn't buying twitter anymore, bot can stay.

Once he kicks off all the bots and fake followers.... How will any of us make money with Twitter?

Probably the people who provide enough value that people follow, without a follow back needed.

People who follow an account purely because they want to, not because they are being polite and just following back.

He should focus more on his current businesses and not waste too much time on this social media stuff.

I just read this in the Guardian:

"Lawyers have questioned whether Musk can walk away from the deal – or seek a new agreement at a lower price – by focusing on the bots issue. The deal agreement includes a $1bn break fee if Musk walks away, although Twitter can also enact a clause that could force Musk to complete the deal at $54.20 per share."

Interesting if true, although that would make the only likely winners being the lawyers.

We should stop now . Let Musk to make some money out of it. He invested a lot.. $44 b LOL

Do people still use Twitter?
In the startup space it's actually extremely popular. Tech as well.

Most startup CEOs and VCs (anyone that's noteworthy) is on there. I don't know why but it seems to be a channel of choice for anyone looking to raise a few million dollars to kick start their idea.

The amount of times I'm on a Zoom call with a 8-9 figure founder and they're talking about what they read on Twitter -- shocking.

I know the forum isn't really into startups or VC money beyond gossip, but for those interested in the space, I encourage building a Twitter presence.

Do you sometimes make zoom calls with poor people also or you only have rich people in your contacts? :D
