Will eBay ban me for logging into a device that was suspended?

I got suspended a few months ago on my main phone, I didn’t create the eBay on the phone but I was logged in for a few months. If I re download eBay and sign into my current stealth will that result in me getting suspended or am I just paranoid?

Yes, there's definitely a risk. eBay doesn’t just log your IP, they track device fingerprints, persistent cookies, app-level IDs (like Device ID or IMEI), and behavioral metadata. If you reinstall eBay on a phone that was previously linked to a suspended account, even logging in with a fresh stealth account could trigger a silent relink and ban.
To stay safe:
  • Use a fresh or factory-reset device (or ideally a burner phone).
  • Alternatively, use a rooted Android with a randomized ROM/device ID setup.
  • Always combine this with a dedicated mobile 4G/5G proxy to rotate your IP and avoid flagged subnets.
Better paranoid than flagged again.
 
Most likely, when your old account got suspended on your phone, the device info and IP were added to eBay’s blacklist. To be safe, you should log in on a clean device instead. If you have more accounts than devices, you can use an antidetect browser like Hidemyacc or Multilogin to create a clean environment for each login.
 
Yes, they have your entire history and link to other suspected accounts.

Hey so listen I reckon you're probably just being a bit paranoid. If you didn't actually *make* the eBay account on the phone that got suspended and you're now using a completely separate stealth account you should be alright. I mean eBay's pretty good at tracking stuff but if it's a proper stealth account like different info different IP address and all that jazz you're probably in the clear. Just download the app sign in and see what happens. I wouldn't stress too much about it honestly. Good luck though!

When eBay suspends an account, the device information gets blacklisted, so you can't use that device to log into a new account. You can consider using a VPS or an antidetect browser with a proxy to create a new profile and log into your account. Alternatively, you can use a new phone. The goal is to create a fresh environment with clean information to avoid account linking and further suspensions

You’re not paranoid eBay can link accounts to devices. Logging into your stealth account on a phone previously associated with a suspended account carries some risk, so it’s safer to use a fresh device or fully reset the current one.
