Can Amazon track your MAC? Sure, but unless you permit them it is called hacking.

I am a newbie at this but this thread had me wondering, had an answer that supports JFoulds in every single way in 10 minutes or less.

It is NOT possible to get the user MAC address with JS alone.
The user MUST have installed some client-side software /plugin/addon/etc like Java Applets or ActiveX for IE.

You are judging from personal experience and probably you are right about one amazon account per MAC address.
How amazon is getting your MAC ? - you have installed amazon toolbar or whatever shit they have. Do you think big companies/corporations play fair, of course not, they will use every dirty trick in the bag just to maximize their profits.

To people that claim it is possible to get the MAC address, show us a proof - CODE.

I think what this thread really needs is some more e-peen.
