Digital Ocean would not be a good place to do hosting for PBNs. I know its cheap - but the IP is dedicated to you -so you cannot really hide anywhere. I've explained how you can hide and how you can avoid leaving hosting footprints in my recent
PBN post right here. Do check it out! No fluff
Hi vishy, thanks for replying. I read all of your article and trying to bring it into practice.
As for hosting, most premium providers are selling at discounted price ( around $5/m ) , only if you pay for a whole year in advance, which is a bit uneasy on my budget. This includes bluehost, siteground, ipage, inmotion, ixhosting and most others.
I need 10 different hostings, and if i pay $50 upfront to each, $500+ will be a lot. Will need more investment down the road to outsource content for these pbns.
So I am looking for hosts with monthly payment options, but their quantity is limited. I managed to find a few including hostgator, aso, a2, fatcow, godaddy etc. But I still need 2 more.
And I don't want to go with cheap hostings that offer anything below $5. Yesterday I signed up at hawkhost for $3.72, and when I analysed their server ip, it was full of pbn sites with spun content.
As for digitialocean, I plan to use only 1 site per ip, and I do not think any of my personal details are made public in connection to the ip. I can book 1 server in us and another in uk or eu for example.
Let me know what you think.
