During recessions, investors have always put their money into stable commodities like gold and silver.

Now the my question is whether investors will seek to cryptocurrencies as well?

Most likely. Like you said people are going to block their funds in gold. But you never know, crypto may end up becoming the new gold. Don't panic sell because in the long run you'll still have gains.

Nobody knows. Lately crypto behaves similar to high tech stocks like Tesla. This can mean 2 things:
  1. in a recession crypto will rise, but then Tesla and similar growth stocks will grow as well
  2. both will fall
Comparing it to Gold might be too early. It will only take effect if the USD collapses and I don't see that happening yet.

I'm trader, and I think they will, because they depend only on fundamental, they depend on the trend, on news. Unlike the regular currency, crypto ones will drop because there is no government which supports them. When you see big-good news about crypto then buy, before that NO

When you see the news it's too late. Buy the rumour, sell the news

Better to day-trade / short term cryptos for me.................historically, there's more benefits in this.

Factually incorrect.

Good to see you dont know what you're talking about.
I gave you statistics and where to find them. What counter argument did you come with? lol

Those aren't facts at all related to what I said LOL

That's redundant discouraging quotes on who's lost money, not who's won............

Just the fact you don't even understand what you , yourself quoted makes me not even interested in discussing

Some will but some will sky rocket up regardless, think of Binance coin, it did well during the bear market.

One of bitcoins target is that people don't invest in an economical crisis into gold but instead in crypto.Bitcoin will fail once the second monetary system will be ready to be implemented
