Will changing proxy providers affect a warmed Reddit account?

So I've warmed a lot of Reddit accounts. However, the proxy provider I'm currently using doesn't have a good price. The accounts all have MODERATE CQS and quite a bit of comment karma meaning that it can post. However, I'm worried that if I change proxy providers but keep the same region (ie: Brooklyn USA), will my Reddit accounts get affected? They're both sticky residential proxies and I tested both proxy providers with fresh accounts. They seem alright and have a fairly low fraud score.

Does changing proxy providers cause a shadowban from Reddit's spam filters?

Changing the internet provider is a normal thing in the real life, so you should not be concerned about changing them. Issues came when you change the proxy's country. Example: You commented from Santiago (Chile) 1h ago, and now you're commenting from Lisbon (Portugalia).
Changing them too often may also represent a potential issue.

The best thing you can do is to test the idea, 1 by 1.

Thanks. What happens if you change to a nearby city? Like Amsterdam NL -> Rotterdam NL? Does that trigger Reddit's shadowban algo?
 
Reddit is sensitive to sudden IP changes, but if both proxies are residential and stable, the risk is low.
 
If you’re switching proxy providers but keeping the same region (like Brooklyn, USA) with sticky residential proxies, it’s unlikely to trigger a shadowban on Reddit, especially with your warmed accounts having moderate CQS and decent comment karma. Reddit’s spam filters focus more on behavior than just an IP switch. As long as the new provider’s IPs are clean and you keep activity normal, you should be fine. Just transition gradually and monitor your accounts after the switch.

It should be fine as long as the new proxies are solid and from the same region. Just avoid frequent IP swaps and sudden location jumps.

I'm trying to test this hypothesis. I feel like once you have unlocked moderate CQS your account can't be hit by Reddit spam filters, unless you post like 10 times in a minute? Or I don't know. Someone please confirm this theory. I know CQS does drop over time for not commenting after a while but I'm curious if all you need to do is just have moderate CQS at any point and you've Reddit-proofed your account?
 
It is ok as long as you keep. Country IP same.
 
I changed from Vietnam IP to US IP without any effect (my account was 3 months old when I changed IP)

Hey! I don’t think moderate CQS makes you immune to Reddit’s spam filters. it’s not a permanent pass. Posting 10 times a minute could still flag you, since it’s more about behavior than just CQS. It drops if you’re inactive, but hitting moderate once doesn’t “proof” your account forever. Consistent, normal activity seems key.

The reason I ask this question is because I have a 3 year old account. I use a datacenter VPN and my CQS is low. It's a mostly inactive account. Comment karma is only around 100 and post karma around 50. Yet for some reason whenever a post/comment gets removed, it doesn't trigger automatic shadowban. This means that it seems like the account is mostly immune to basic spam filters. For comparison, I tested unwarmed accounts and all it takes is just ONE removed comment/post for an account to get automatically shadowbanned.
 
The key here is to test, and whenever possible, use IPs from the same countries, as Reddit doesn’t like frequent IP changes. This can lead to suspicion of spam activity or even temporary bans

They might be thinking you'll be deported soon enough. :D JK!

I’ve also swapped proxies on one of my accounts with karma and never encountered any problems. That said, it’s best to avoid doing this too often. Sticking to the same country is fine, but constantly changing the country of your proxies could raise a red flag.
 
As long as you stick to the same region and use high-quality residential proxies, the risk is low. Just avoid frequent IP changes and sudden behavior shifts to stay under the radar.
 
as how reddit is being banning and going agains all new accounts will suggest you to get to the closest city and state as the previous proxy was just in case and maybe move them slowly to not rise any alert.
