will changing parent page effect rankings?

All of my pages are ranked within the top 100 for many keywords. A few even on the first page.

If i change the parent page (so the url changes slightly) will this effect rankings?

If it change permalinks then yes but you could 301 old urls to their respective new urls.

Your backlinks get a hit when you do that.
