K so currently I rank number 7 for a 3 word keyword, I did not plan on ranking for this but still Im ranking at number 7.

The 4 word keyword i did plan on is placed at number 2 on page 1 of Google.

Now the problem is that the 3 word keyword is searched way more and is giving me more traffic at even number 7. however the 3 word keyword is not in my title....

all the sites above me have this keyword in their title.. so will adding it to my sites title improve my ranking?

like now its like : Super Duper DVD Player. and I want to rank for Super DVD Player..

so if make my title like : Super Duper DVD Player | Super DVD Player

Thus not removing anything but adding some more words..

how will this affect my ranking? will it rise? or can my rankings even fall by adding this ?

i hope my post makes sense.. too sleepy..

You already have the 3 words as part of the 4 word title, it will be more of keyword stuffing, but ideal word length in a title is 7.5 words or 65 char length so you can add something extra which describes your site well like

Super Duper DVD Player | Good Shopping Experience for Superb DVD Players

I would create a new page using those 3 keywords to create the new page URL & the page title...and then link spam the fuck out of it.

Changing the title mostly affects ranking, so you can change and see the difference.

Don't repeat the words in title in the description, the description should look natural but give its meaning in natural way.

Exactly. That's the easiest way to do it. And it will affect the ranking.

If you loose ranking after changing the title, just return to the original one. But I think I would try to add a new page with a new title. If you got a good position with any site's pages, don't play with them and change anything. Results can be unpredictable.

I've changed my titles before and maintained my search positioning on the more accurate title that I changed to. I'm not sure if it's supposed to do that in most cases if you're improving it, or if the niche was just that easy back then.
