Better to create a new channel and post new niche videos here, as you have already setted up algorithms for it.

If your channel hasn’t posted any videos yet, just change the name as usual, it’s okay. In addition to changing the channel name, you need to choose an avatar + cover that matches your niche + write a suitable description.

yes, that's right. Rename won't affect performance but you should stick on 1 niche/channel

What are current stats of channel ? If there are too many subscribers, you might not want to change name.
