Yeah, bitcoin would survive. Transactions would just pause since nodes/miners need the internet. Once the internet comes back, the network syncs up again and carries on like nothing happened.

If the internet went down globally for a week, Bitcoin would basically pause since transactions need connectivity to propagate. Local offline transactions could still be signed, but they wouldn’t confirm until the network came back online. Once the internet returned, the blockchain would sync and continue, so Bitcoin itself wouldn’t die coz it would just stall temporarily.

Bitcoin would stop moving temporarily since transactions need the internet, but the network and coins would survive. Once connectivity is back, it would continue normally.

Okay but for a short amount of time, the first nodes and miners will own the network right? and they'll have more than enough power to add to the chain.

bitcoin would survive technically, but transactions would pause until the internet is back—no network means no confirmations or trading during that week.
Bitcoin would effectively stop functioning for that week since transactions and network verification rely on the internet. Once connectivity returns, the network could resume, but some transactions might be delayed or lost.
