I was playing with the new chat.openai.com/chat AI tool today. Gee it's good. My fear is that within 10 years half the content on the internet will be generated by bots.

My fear as well...

Well then learn video marketing or social media marketing .Seo its not the only way to make money

I agree that many things in the world are now being slowly taken over by AI but I don't think AI is reliable enough to run the whole internet or Kill it. Surely that isn't possible because it would be just a huge loss for a lot of companies so there will be special rules made for them in the future.

Crap Ai will be the issue, but there are some good products out there.

amd why you fear that? it's not like there is no person behin the ai that instruct and tell them what to do and how to do it. if it's this easy everyone will have sucess with ai content. even before the whole google update and gpt 3, not everyone suceed with ai content.
if you are as consumer, you won't even realize or care of it as slong the content is true, interesting basicly give what you looking for.

this is all like when robot machine start taking over in factory again, just with diff context

It will not because internet does not have a kill switch like stock market.
But surely content will become crapy before it gets better.

I asked Jasper this question. Here is his answer:
Artificial Intelligence has been rapidly growing in the past few years, and it's no surprise-- its capabilities are becoming more and more incredible. With this growth have come questions of whether AI will take over human internet content generation, even threatening to kill off the entirety of the online environment as we know it. While artificial intelligence has the potential to greatly improve the quality of content generated, from blog posts to article writing, it is difficult to perceive that bots could truly replace humans in their internet contributions. AI-generated content misses out on key aspects that only a human touch can provide, such as creativity and intuition, so many see artificial intelligence not as a killer of the internet but instead its enabler.

I already lost all clients because of AI, applying for 9-5 job first thing Monday morning.

Im pretty sure a considerable part of the internet could be run by AI but i think big companies will still be interested in keeping some things as human as possible

I think that everything depends on the point in which it is seen, it can also help us save time in some jobs. I feel that everything depends on the use that is given to it

No, AI will not kill the internet. While AI has the potential to impact significantly and transform many industries and aspects of our lives, it is unlikely to cause the internet to cease functioning.

The internet is a global network of connected computer networks that enables the transmission of data and information between devices. It is a complex and decentralized system that is not controlled by any single entity or technology. Conversely, AI is a field of computer science and engineering that focuses on developing intelligent systems and algorithms that can learn from and make decisions based on data.

While AI may be integrated into many aspects of the internet and its technologies, such as search engines and social media platforms, it cannot wholly replace or destroy the internet itself. The internet will continue to evolve and adapt to new technologies and innovations, including AI, but it is not at risk of being killed by AI.
