will a ".us" exatct match domain work?

Hello I need to buy an exact match domain but I couldn't find dot com or dot net do you think "dot us" is a good option specially that its cheap and I am targeting USA.let me know your experience please

Perfectly fine now days. I have a local client that went with a .us domain and it ranks just fine.

Well, technically, a .com website is supposed to target the worldwide and .US is for the USA. But there should be no variation between .COM and .US websites these days. It's just, Google puts more amount of trust to .Com, .Net and .Org domains in the past, but using .US domain is fine. In fact, there are some websites today using a .US domain sits on a higher rank on Google SERP. So .US is a good option.

I don't see any problem using Dot (.) US. Other websites rank well using that. It's not a bad idea if you will go for it.
