K so ive been banned my akismet so many times and ive contacted them to whitelist me everytime. so that now i think theyve stopped responding to my emails..

so to check for alternatives i was thinking of getting a co.cc domain.. setting up on my server or some other server and doing a 301 redirect to my own domain

and then comment using the co.cc domain.

so would that give me the same effect seo wise as my original domain??

301 redirect did not work for google any more, dont waste your time.

wha???

can anyone else confirm this..

a 301 redirect is extremely important especially for those that have redesigned their site or have moved them some where else.

what does G consider instead of 301?

Don't post retarded comments if you have no inclination to the topic.

Anyway back on topic, I'm rather confident a straight 301 re-direct to a new domain won't work in terms of Akismet simply because I've read of people using tinyurls, sub domains and so on, and it hasn't worked (although this could simply be due to the same IP, HTTP header information, e-mail address, anchor text etc.

However, simply put a page up on this new domain, and 301 the domain after you are satisfied that you have a lot of links pointing to the domain, get banned and so on. I can't comment any future than that, as I'm fortunate enough to have never been banned ;).
