I've been a patrol head all my life. But my knowledge on Honda's, especially, is extreme. I could build that 4 cylinder engine up to a 1000 horses. Anyhow, it just hit me that I should cash on my knowledge. I wanted opinions on how exactly to do that.

What I had in mind was to start with a facebook page. Sharing images and stuff. Then make an authority website with extreme focus on Hondas. I could share all my knowledge there. The scope of the niche is, well, there's always people interested in Honda's.

I'm definitely gonna try this just a little confused about how to cash this knowledge in the right way.

Working on something you like has always the lowest risk because even if that doesn't work out in the end .. you will have your fun :)

Automobile niche always bring in high cpc keywords. I would say make a blog use social media for traffic and promote related products. Perhaps meet your local dealer and get a deal with him for promoting his banner on your blog. Or speak with local motor shops and try the same.

Promoting local business can be much more profitable than online affiliate networks.

I'm actually thinking of a website like 1320video.com and carthrottle.com

I see you like what you will write in your website. Following what you did mention, my recommendation is: get some authority in Facebook, then use it for your own benefit sending traffic to your blog.

Just do it man! If you are passionate about your niche you've 50% more change of succes than just doing it for money.

I would go with a viral script like socialbuzz, create killer content and connect every social media to the site. Especially FB and Pinterest.
If you are able to create HowTo movies, do it! Of course upload to YouTube and link or embed to your site

I don't care about SEO, but if you do, creating a visual site with Honda images, videos and text, Google will love it, especially if you have tons of shares.

I'm not really sure about pinterest. Doesn't pinterest usually have female users. It's been a while since I used pinterest but I don't think there's much scope of auto mods and stuff like that on there.

Its good that you enjoy this kind of stuff and will make a site about it as the only way to really motivate yourself is to like what you are doing.

Go for it man. Create content that people will share. Top 10 best Honda's ever etc. Must be loads of car forums you can drive traffic from. If you got big enough could always do some advertising for Honda and cut out the ads middle man :-)

I think build facebook page will be a good start. Once you have grown audience you can start make some articles about it, and share it to your facebook page. Rinse and repeat to other social media place

You already have a good idea.
If you want to monetize it, I found a nice offer on clicbank for used cars, try and search for it.
Also google used/new cars affiliate. Beats adsense for sure, especially if you have such targeted audience.

Ah yes true, i'm targeting woman with 2 of my sites. Almost 90% Pinterest traffic and the best conversion I've ever had with social media. I'm such pro pinterest i forgot it is not always the best solution.

Do it. Do your research though, don't jump in without knowing how competitive it is. You might be better specialising in one area of Hondas for example.

As for the plan - make maximum use of your knowledge - start a site, write lots of content, start working on social media - as many avenues as possible - keep the accounts smaller and high quality, get directly involved with the community on all those channels in order to drive traffic to your site.

Find the biggest forums in your niche and start getting yourself known on those as well, link to your site from your sig space.
