Wikipedia spam edit

I guess it can, they are quite picky with edits, especially if external links are added.

I add no more than one link every 4-6 months. Whenever I do, I do a legit edit which adds/improves content for the page. I include a couple of internal wikipedia links to the new text, and then, my link as a reference. Obviously, you need to link to an info article which is thoroughly covering the topics that you just included in the Wikipedia page. Not to your money page (and even if you managed, wiki traffic is probably not going to convert at all).

I have several links hanging perfectly in important wiki pages, and all I did was following this method.

I might write an entire post/guide if people are interested.

Spamming your site on wikipedia is very hard... they don't accept edits if you just add your link.

Really? I didn't even have to create an account to make an edit on a page getting alot of traffic and add a link.

Yes, Chances is high. If they caught that you are spamming they will easily ban your website url.

You can't do it (SPAM). You must add value to Wikipedia other than the link will be removed & your IP & Link will be blacklisted.
